Touchtone Corporation Expands Focus

August 31, 1998 – Costa Mesa, CA – Following a period of tremendous growth, Touchtone Software International, developer and publisher of software solutions for the IBM AS/400, has changed its name to Touchtone Corporation to reflect the broadening scope of its activities. Touchtone has developed Wintouch eCRM, a Web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solution for the IBM AS/400; QuestView, the #1 AS/400 database utility; and ThinView, a dynamic database publishing system and e-commerce tool.

Wintouch and ThinView are both Java-based and have helped Touchtone become one of the leaders in Java for the AS/400. Java technology has opened up opportunities for the company in application distribution via the Internet.

"Up until now, we have only concentrated on developing and publishing software for the IBM AS/400," said Reza H. Saraf, Touchtone’s founder and CEO.
